These questions will be explored by the panel from engineering, meteorology, and claims handling standpoints.

    First-Party Property Claims – Working with Policyholder Advocates

    An increasing percentage of first-party property damage claims involve a third party acting on the policyholder’s behalf. This includes public adjusters, contractors, claim consultants, and attorneys. Some are helpful. Others not so much. This session will explore the roles of these various advocates, including what they can and cannot do in the claims process. Current fraud schemes will also be discussed.
